Making Waves exhibition opened in the art district of Miami at the BAC house ar complex in the Swenson Gallery - March 8, 2013 - April 1, 2013 www.bacfl.org)

Judith A. Schwab is Making Waves by arranging selected lines from the poems of Charles Adès Fishman and incorporating them into her works of art. The poetry and artwork are intended as a cautionary wail against pollution in support of clean water.

Each poetry segment below serves as a title that is seen floating within every wave sculpture. This original arrangement of words creates a new graphic free verse, Schwab titles, "Beauty 13".

“Beauty 13”

1 At the blurred edge of the Atlantic
2 Blackbirds cried out in the cattails
3 Where is the sea's green membrane?
4 The pale aqua sea blown rose and carmine
5 A wedge of turquoise water
6 Tidepools of sun
7 Sluicing energy tear
8 bubbles up from a fissure deep as grief
9 like worlds burning out
10 Water burns with the light
11 White mouth of the black sea
12 What language does the earth speak?
13 What are we here for if not to know beauty?
